Former Nashville Baseball players weigh in on new stadium site

An article in today's Tennessean shares some opinions of former Nashville baseball players, stating that the East Bank is a better location to help boost local business and commerce.  The article can be read at http://tnne.ws/rxUnyx.>

Cincinatti, Memphis, and Atlanta were mentioned as nearby cities with their stadiums built in the downtown area.  Having spent a little bit of time in Cincinatti, I really enjoy the fact they have the Reds and Bengals stadiums right along the riverfront.  I think it creates a great setting, and I'm sure they postively impact most local business nearby.  I think a new baseball stadium would look great next to LP Field!
